U-Freight Logistics in Hong Kong has recently completed an expansion project for its autonomous mobile robot (AMR) and intelligent racking system, which was initially installed two years ago at one of its five freight hubs.

This expansion encompasses 12,000 sq ft of the company’s 20,000 sq ft e-commerce fulfillment center (EFC) in Kwai Chung.

The AMR and intelligent racking system, along with the associated operating software, were provided by the leading supplier Geek+.

U-Freight has adopted a shelf-to-person solution powered by Geek+, and the upgrade took several months to accomplish while maintaining the regular operational functions of the EFC, Ajot reported.
