What, Exactly, Makes a Person Spout this Sovereign Citizen Nonsense? (I have some thoughts)

Sovereign citizens are a unique and rather odious brand of miscreant that seems to enjoy antagonizing law enforcement, screaming at judges, and having their driver's side windows replaced as often as most people change shoes.
