Vermont police release sketch of person of interest in killing of retired college dean

Vermont law enforcement authorities have unveiled a composite sketch of an individual deemed a person of interest in the homicide of a retired college dean on the popular Castleton trail.

This person, as depicted in the sketch, was observed on the Delaware and Hudson Rail Trail around 4:30 p.m. on October 5, close to the location where 77-year-old Honoree Fleming’s body was discovered, according to a news release from the Vermont State Police.

Witnesses have described this person of interest as a white male in his 20s, approximately 5’10” tall, with short red hair, CBS News reported.
