Michigan Department of Transportation crews will be doing daily lane closures

The work is for the installation of pavement markings for the new High Occupancy Vehicle, or HOV, lanes on a 14-mile stretch of the freeway. The I-75 HOV lanes will use the left lane from 12 Mile Road to South Boulevard and the work should be completed by the end of October. The HOV lanes are designed for buses or vehicles with several occupants.
