Israel to test missile 'warning system' in Ukraine

Israel has delivered its Red Alert missile warning radars to Ukraine with the initial batch of 16 radars as part of a humanitarian effort to safeguard the country against missile attacks, according to a report by Israel Defense. Prior to installation, Israeli and Ukrainian military officials are said to have held several meetings in Poland to discuss adapting the system for use in a country larger than Israel and one that is being targeted by more advanced missiles. The Israeli Ministry of Defense authorized the transfer of the radar systems, which can detect incoming missiles from several hundred kilometers away, ascertain their trajectory, and predict their estimated impact location.
