In this lecture, we will review Psychosocial Development - Peer Influences in Middle Childhood (6-11/12 years old).

For children in middle childhood, the social world, particularly the behavior and attitudes of their school peers, has been shown to be an important factor in their educational and mental health outcomes. It seems likely that temperamental traits will have different effects on school peers, dependent on characteristics of the school attended (ncbi.nlm.nih.gov).

I will review an article entitled: How to help kids navigate friendships and peer relationships. Teaching them psychological tools now can aid them well into adulthood. Author: Tori DeAngelis

I will also review Communication Milestones for in Middle Childhood.
I am open to additional lecture title suggestions… so if you have a topic in mind, send me your request.
