Discussion over landfill's future in Riverview

The Wayne County landfill is hoping to expand, but not if the people who live nearby get a say. The issue is set to be decided later Thursday at a meeting in Riverview. It's up the county to decide if the city of Riverview gets to grow the landfill, and it's receiving plenty of pushback. In the past month, more than 1,000 people have signed a petition to block the expansion of this landfill.
