On June 8th, 1967 Israeli fighter pilots unleashed a barrage of fire on to the American USS Liberty ship stationed in the Mediterranean Sea.

Arguably worse than the incident itself is the fact that the United States under the leadership of President Lyndon B Johnson never acknowledged the “accident” and gave any vindication to the brave men who lost their lives that day.
