Hello Pastor Bob! I have been watching PBCB for a good few years now and thank you for all the teaching. I am a bit frustrated with my walk. I study the Bible quite a bit and try to pray, etc, but I don't feel that I am changing much. I still get depressed. I am irritable and angry quite a bit. I have habitual sin. It seems the Bible tells you what you should be a lot but not how to be it. I don’t feel very close to God and given what I have said above perhaps that is no surprise. I feel like I have missed it. All that said, I love Jesus in a way that doesn’t even make sense to me. It's just there. I go to church with my wife, but to be honest I don’t have any friends there and I don’t get much out of it. Its quite shallow and going through the motions mostly. The pastor in my old church went to be with the Lord last year and I miss him a lot. He was the only person who has ever managed to straighten me out.
