Even the angels we're tempted by human women, AKA, The Nephilim. They had a specific reason though, to taint the bloodline so The Messiah could not come.
I'm sure Satan didn't have to twist their arm very hard to get them to go along?

Drugs also fit into this category, people worship the high/feeling.

The Lust of The Eyes; The desire to have all that we see such as money, material possessions, houses, cars,

The Pride of Life; This is when we get and possess the things we lusted after, the car, house, job, trophy wife or husband. We think we are above/better than everyone because of what WE have accomplished.

The root problem with the three sins John addresses here is I, Me, Mine, and Self. You are the center of your world and God is not even a part of your world.

John The Baptist saw this when he said in John 3:30 “He must increase, but I must decrease.”

Rev 3:12 Him that over comes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
