Big Puppy Carried In Arms When Riding A Scary Escalator

Using the escalator can be a strange experience for dogs, because they can develop a fear of the odd motions. This video perfectly shows that size doesn’t matter when it comes to conquering fears. This big puppy has the fear of a newborn when it comes to them scary elevators and wants to be held in arms.

In this adorable video, filmed on August 12, 2017, in Fortaleza, Brazil, a golden retriever called Antonio can be seen holding tightly to his caring owner, who picked his big dog up like a puppy to ride a scary escalator.

Dog-owner decided to have lunch in the mall with his dog, which apparently is very scared of escalators, and can only ride them if carried like a puppy, because that is the safest way.

The general belief has always been that a dog should not be afraid of anything, whether we put them in elevators, have them ride in big rigs, have dozens of children surrounding them, or even flying in a plane. We have a bad habit of “humanizing” our dogs and treating them like they are our children. However, this also means we sometimes forget that a dog is still an animal and the many things we ask of him throughout his life are usually not something he would do on his own if given a choice. And, often, fear is involved as well.
