Assassin's Creed Mirage changes most mechanics seen in recent games in an attempt to make AC Mirage a return to a previous style from the earlier releases of the series. As such there isn't a traditional leveling system, but players can still earn skill points to unlock different skills.
After completing the tutorial section and becoming a full-fledged assassin, Basim will unlock three different skill trees to invest points in. While players can affect how quickly they earn skill points, it's not in a traditional "earn XP to level up" by defeating enemies style.
