Good Morning and welcome to Law and Legitimacy (@LawPodDaily)! Norm is traveling today, but he squeezed in a few minutes in the wee hours of the morning to share some of his vintage wisdom. Mike will cue that during this morning's stream!
.
Politico is reporting that Alex Jones will refuse to testify as a witness in the Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' criminal prosecution of President Donald J. Trump. If so moved by the courts, Jones will assert his fifth amendment right against self-incrimination as he has done in the past.
.
What is 'pleading the fifth'? Let Norm explain the nature of the underlying case against President Trump, the nature of conspiracy and R.I.C.O criminal prosecutions, and why Alex Jones' testimony is unnecessary to further the case in chief.
.
Thereafter, Mike opens the floor for discussion with the live chat.
