Butterfly Gardens and a nice ridgeline hike Ali g the Chestnut Ridge Trail in Roan Mountain State Park.

Headed to Roan Mountain, Tennessee for a short winter hike since the weather was good. Enjoyed myself in the woods and had some great views. Capped off this trip by exploring the Monarch Butterfly Waystation which has the remains of an old gun range still present. How odd!?!

The Chestnut Ridge Trail Hike is accessible from the overlook at the Miller Farmstead in Roan Mountain State Park, Carter County, Tennessee.
