Perilous Times - Violence

Over time various societies have sought to regulate violence. Be it from Politicians, Teachers, Ministries, Laws and peer pressure. The notion of Biblical self defense seems unreasonable. After all didn't the Messiah say, "He who lives by the sword dies by the sword"?

The messiah was referring to away of life not self defense. It may take some, time to detangle all of the anti self defense rhetoric. Father Abraham was not a man of violence but when needed weapons of warfare would be used.

We have many figures in the scriptures that never disavowed violence but rather how and when appropriate to use.

Often the Religious misguide their listeners away from a more balanced Biblical approach to protect themselves and others. Did you know the righteous are to protect children, elderly, strangers etc. Sometimes that requires violence a tool and method of conclusion.

We must fight in the spiritual realm with righteous conduct and prayers. And when the occasion arises violence.

Violence is neutral, it is the wielder who may tip it good or bad.

Enoch 16:1-4
From the days of the slaughter and destruction and death of the giants, from the souls of whose flesh the spirits, having gone forth, shall destroy without incurring judgement -thus shall they destroy until the day of the consummation, the great judgement in which the age shall be 2 consummated, over the Watchers and the godless, yea, shall be wholly consummated." And now as to the watchers who have sent thee to intercede for them, who had been aforetime in heaven, (say 3 to them): "You have been in heaven, but all the mysteries had not yet been revealed to you, and you knew worthless ones, and these in the hardness of your hearts you have made known to the women, and through these mysteries women and men work much evil on earth." 4 Say to them therefore: " You have no peace."'

Notice: "destroy without incurring judgement"
Destruction is a violent act.

Protect yourself at all times spiritually and physically. In this world but not like it.
