Paul shows how the covenant of God with Abraham (The Promise) remained superior to the covenant He had with the children of Israel (The Law). God gave the Law because people kept on committing sins. He intended to make it our guardian until Jesus arrived to make us sons and daughters of God and we are clothed with Jesus.
