Man falls into the square pit at the 9/11 memorial site

So this happened. I’m just curious what everyone knows about the design of the 9/11 memorial. The black box and it’s significance.

I have a mall snippet of an old video, maybe the first 9/11 ceremony, where they formed I believe the eye of Horus around ground zero. Anyone remember that?
