Holding Everything Up

Today we go for songs that deal with holding in some form or another - not holding as in a penalty in real football, but as in Simply Red trying to hold on coupled with Uriah Heep reprising Argent about holding up one's head and then Eddie Money exhorting his girlfriend to hold on as well... so that's enough holding... but when you think about it, most everybody is asking somebody else to hold on for one reason or another... it's all very human that way...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
