Nancy was 19 in 1991 when she got her shot, in response to a letter from her college. Her immediate reaction caused her to end up in the hospital within the week of injection. After this experience, Nancy’s life “was never the same.” It wasn’t until 2020, while researching the flu shot, that Nancy found a relationship between her health and the school immunization.
