DOKOLO RESIDENTS WANT THE COST OF ELECTRICITY REVISED

Dokolo residents have decried the cost of electricity which they say stands in their way to abandoning the use of wood fuel and charcoal, both of which are agents if deforestation.
While presiding over this Sunday’s service at St. Andrew Church of Uganda in Dokolo Urban Archdeaconry, Rev. David Ogweng Enon a retired parish priest called on government to consider cutting down on the cost of electricity as a mechanism of decompaigning tree cutting for charcoal production.
