NSW Police Minister Yasmin Catley is facing calls for her resignation after she refused to apologise for not preventing the pro-Palestine protestors from marching onto the Sydney Opera House.

NSW Opposition leader Mark Speakman said the minister “should reflect on her position”.

“The police minister is a serial non-performer,” Mr Speakman told Sky News Australia host Sharri Markson.

“She was missing on tasergate … there’s a report on domestic violence gathering dust on her deck.

“She was missing in action when there was shootings in Western Sydney.

“She has not lifted a finger, she has not said anything to stop this protest descending on the Opera House … she has been a continual failure as police minister.”
