Albanese knows difference between Voice 'crushed like a bug' vs 'just a defeat'

Sky News Host Liz Storer says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese knows the difference between being “crushed like a bug” or just defeated on the Voice to Parliament.

Ms Storer says she believes the Voice referendum’s defeat will be “resounding” and that Mr Albanese “knows this”.

“His own numbers are telling him it is going to be the fall-down,” she told Sky News Australia host Sharri Markson.

“On Sunday, (Mr Albanese) was like, ‘really pedalling back everything I said about legislating a Voice regardless of the referendum outcome’.

“This guy knows there is a difference between a resounding thumping, being crushed like a bug, and just a defeat.”
