‘Appalling’: Mark Speakman calls out the NSW government for allowing pro-Palestine march

NSW Opposition leader Mark Speakman has criticised the state government for allowing the “appalling” pro-Palestine protests to march onto the steps of the Sydney Opera House.

“It certainly should not have been allowed to go ahead,” Mr Speakman told Sky News Australia host Sharri Markson.

“The protesters, the mob should not have been allowed to march through the streets of Sydney to the Opera House.

“The anti-Semitic slogans, the hate speech, the burning of a flag, the lighting of flames – none of that should have been allowed to happen.

“This lays at the feet of the government.”
