📌Plot Synopsis:

Steve Fisk is the somewhat uncouth mayor of a small town, while Clarissa Standish is the refined and dignified mayor of a small New England city. Both of them head to San Francisco to attend a mayors' convention, and this is where the paths of the two wildly different politicians cross.

Despite their contrasting personalities and political styles, Steve and Clarissa find themselves thrown together repeatedly due to a series of comedic circumstances, some involving the misadventures of Steve’s friend, the boisterous Fire Chief Duggan, played by James Gleason.
