That Dam Stupa - Vientiane, Laos

That Dam, which translates to “black stupa”, is one of Vientiane’s many intriguing historical landmarks. The stupa, which stands in Laos' capital city, is shrouded in mystery and is central in local legends. Locals believe that this is the home to the Naga, a 7 headed giant serpent and that the stupa was once coated in gold. We had to check it out and you should visit to if you travel to Laos.
