This ballad seems to be about burglars, but is halloweeny enough for me:

The song is by William Shield (1748-1829) and was part of the opera 'The Castle of Andalusia", version published in 1807:

There was an earlier, 1783 publication of the opera, however, the end to ACT III doesn't include the song:
