It is a terribly difficult thing to critique one of your greatest set of musical heroes, but Jeff, Ben, and Mark embark on another journey to do just that. The album is not the reinvention of Metallica that we had hoped it would be, but is instead a controlled revisit of a number of different sounds that they have performed before. If you're looking for stark praise of Metallica, you are very much unlikely to get it here.
