Chimp Has Joyous Reunion With Surrogate Mom After Night Away

This baby chimpanzee really missed his mama!
3-year-old Gandali had to spend a night away from his enclosure after receiving treatment for a snakebite at the Rockhampton Zoo in Queensland, Australia, on September 6. When Gandali was returned safely back to his home, the young chimp and his surrogate mother, Samantha, could not contain their excitement at seeing each other.
