2. - UCD - SSDP - Mani Begyi - #LegaliseIt! Open Letter

The original Irish Canna Clinic Talks were born out of a collaboration with the UCD, SSDP back in 2020.
There are always new iterations to the SSDP with every student intake and we are very excited to see some real new energy under the leadership of this very charismatic Iranian medical student.
It is so refreshing to see Mani Begyi a young medical student with a strong open mind as they are studying the impacts of psychedelics (particularly Psilocybin in health which has by now being legalized in the state of Oregon) and it is this research that has led to UCD's SSDP to address an open letter to the Citizens Assembly recommending full legalization.
SSDP chapters are gaining strength across our campuses and we hope their voice will continue to get louder as 2023 develops!
