The Gift Horse's Mouth is a Two-Way Mirror

Do you always discredit a compliment when it's paid to you? Or do you shy away from help when people are genuinely trying to offer it? Why do we do this?

Important to know that this behavior is all about us and we need to explore why. When people are genuinely paying us a compliment or trying to help us, it actually does us more harm to not graciously accept, then it does to accept.

Of course, we need to know the source, but I'm talking about real honest help and compliments. Not somebody who's out to hurt us or gain for their own benefits.

When we can a truly accept someone else's graciousness, we learn that we are worth it and people care about us. We matter to others and therefore learn to matter to ourselves. It's such a powerful lesson to learn.

Remember, when someone lifts us up, it gives us the power to lift others up as well.

Believe in yourself. You can do it!!!
