How have Lighthouse falsely been labelled a cult?

Lighthouse Global found over and over again that people who wanted to take part in personal development workshops and research were consistently met with opposition from those closest to them; their friends and family. When they find a community that helps them grow and develop very often that same family quickly label that group with the slur of 'cult'.
