Racers speed through the streets of the quiet, beautiful Cheshire hamlet Knutsford which like Brigadoon comes alive only once every 10 years with Penny-Farthing racing until another decade passes. The 3 hour course isn't merely a test of endurance but is also technically challenging with a sharp, twisting downhill ending in a 90 degree turn racers negotiate at speed.
