Netanyahu in his 2011 address to the Joint Meeting of Congress - Important history given recent events with the conflict between Hamas and Israel.

"My friends, you don’t need to do nation building in Israel.  We’re already built.  You don’t need to export democracy to Israel.  We’ve already got it.  You don’t need to send American troops to defend Israel. We defend ourselves. You’ve been very generous in giving us tools to do the job of defending Israel on our own. Thank you all, and thank you President Obama, for your steadfast commitment to Israel’s security. I know economic times are tough. I deeply appreciate this. Support for Israel’s security is a wise investment in our common future.  For an epic battle is now unfolding in the Middle East, between tyranny and freedom."

Netanyahu: "Mr Vice President (Biden), do you remember the time when we were the new kids in town?"

Biden: Responds with the sign of the cross on himself while laughing and then saying "I do".

What do you think that means? Is it just a point on how they got into politics together at the same time? Or something more esoteric given Biden signed the cross on himself?

Netanyahu: "I do see a lot of old friends here, and I do see a lot of news friends of Israel as well... Democrats and Republicans alike!"....before getting a roaring standing ovation from everyone in the house chamber. He gets like 20 more of these standing ovations throughout the entire speech.

The only other time I remember seeing this kind of fervent bipartisan support for another nation and it's leader is recently with Ukraine and Zelenskyy, and it all just feels like outright unapologetic propaganda to me.

I wish these politicians cared about the American people us as much as they seem care about Israel and their interests or defense. We give Israel billions to protect it's borders, and yet we have thousands and thousands of migrants sprinting across our border unabated.

We got endless dollars and support for foreign countries like Israel and Ukraine, but yet we can't help the people here at home being bankrupted by medical bills, poisoned by vaccines, taxed into oblivion to fund a massive military apparatus, and just outright ignored and expensed in favor of corporate oligarchs and big business.

It's purely just the people vs the elite, and always has been. None of these people give a damn about you. If anything they are actively trying to get rid of us, in more ways than one.
