Gaza-Israel war: Israeli deaths surges, as Hamas attack continues

The number of Israelis killed has surged to 659 since Hamas launched its surprise attack on Israel.
Civilians and members of the security forces were ambushed in towns along the frontier with Gaza.
At least 370 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air strikes on Gaza.
