Surah Al-Falaq, also known as "The Daybreak" or "The Dawn," is the 113th chapter (surah) of the Quran, the holy book of Islam. Like Surah An-Nas, it is a very short surah consisting of only five verses (ayahs). It is also a Madinan surah, revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's migration there.

Surah Al-Falaq is a supplication in which believers seek refuge in God from various forms of harm, especially the harm that can come from the darkness of ignorance, evil, and negative forces. The surah emphasizes the concept of seeking protection and refuge in God as the ultimate source of safety and security.
