Chapter 20: The Eternal Proposal
The Victor appeared to me in dream at night. In the dream, the Victor wanted me to become a member of the Creator’s household for all eternity. Whether it was by adoption or marriage or something further, I cannot recall. I simply remember that it was some sort of proposal or proposition for an eternal contract. The Victor said “Ask whatever you wish me to give you.”

I responded, “Please give me the wisdom of Solomon, the beauty and grace of Ester, and the strength of Samson. Please provide me the ability to interpret dreams as you gave to Daniel and Joseph. Please be more generous to me than Laban was to Jacob. Simply because you consider me family, do not deny me temporal wages. Please let me prevail and please bless me with a blessing greater than that which the Creator gave to Israel. I will not let go until you bless me.

Please provide me both temporal wages and eternal rewards. Do not neglect the former. Do not neglect the latter. Let my integrity and righteousness shine like the dawn and my vindication like noonday. Vindicate me as you vindicated Job. Restore me everything I have lost, twofold or greater. Vindicate me as you vindicated Joseph. Elevate me to second in command. Let no created being have authority over me. Let me be accountable only to my Creator.

Let my sins be as far from me as the east is from the west. Let my sins not be remembered anymore. Let my sins not be recorded anymore. Let my sins not be accounted against me on the Day of Judgment.

Be more generous to me than you were to Adam. Provide me with a wife who loves the Creator with all of her heart, mind, soul, spirit, brain, and body, who will dance with me, be my genuine helper and delight. Provide me land I own outright, a dwelling place I own outright, a workspace for me to create good things for the glory of the Creator. Provide me and my family the Creator’s divine protection. Let all the work of my hands and everything I create prosper. Put a seal on everything I create, and let it all be used for good and none of it for evil. Let any attempt by anyone to hack, repurpose, or reprogram anything I create (to use it for evil) backfire and expose them (and be used for good). Please fulfil all of your promises quickly. Especially that you have prepared a place for me in the Creator’s House where there are many dwelling places, that you work all things for the good of those who love the Creator, and that you will give those who love the Creator the desires of their heart. Come quickly and restore justice to those who cry out to you day and night. I thank you for your goodness in the morning and your faithfulness in the evening.

Just as the Creator is surrounded by 4 living creatures, 7 stars surrounding His throne, and 24 elders, please give me authority over 35 souls. Provide me 4 souls to be my secretaries, 7 souls to be my companions, and 24 souls to help govern my estate. If you wish to be doubly generous, please provide another 35 souls to complement my wife. Let each one of the angels in your charge propose a special gift and blessing for me, and grant all those that are according to your will. Provide me 12 legions of angels at my disposal. One to protect me, one to protect my family, one to protect each of the 7 continents, one to protect the sea, one to protect the sky, and one to protect the space and dimensions surrounding the Earth.

Please fill me with your saving power without limit. Please allow me to be able to smell the righteousness of others. Please allow me to perceive the thoughts of others. Give me gifts of wisdom, gifts of knowledge, gifts of healing, gifts of foresight, gifts of miraculous powers, gifts of confidence and conviction, gifts of discernment, gifts of speaking and understanding new languages.

Please write an eternal contract that is mutually pleasing and beneficial for us both. You know me better than I know myself, and I trust you to be more than generous to me. As you have requisitioned, I have made my requests known to you with supplication and thanksgiving. Please provide me the peace that surpasses all understanding and guard my mind and heart.”

The Victor responded, “Because you asked, you shall receive. Because you knocked, the door has been opened. You will find what you have sought. Because you cling to me, I will deliver you. Because you know my name, I will set you on high. I will deliver you, give you honor. With length of days I will satisfy you and show you my saving power. I will ask the Creator to give you beneficial nourishing gifts like that of bread, fish, and egg. He will not give spurn you with detrimental gifts like that of stone, serpent, and scorpion.”

Then I awoke. Behold it was a dream.
