Idaho State University professors are using drones to map craters of the moon in preparation for future missions to Mars. The researchers are using the data to create a detailed understanding of the volcanoes' construction and history, which will help them develop better strategies for exploring and exploiting their resources. In this short video, we'll learn more about the research and how it is helping to pave the way for human exploration of the moon and Mars.
