Woodturning a Firewood Burl into $1500 Vase

In this week woodturning video, I turned firewood-distanced black locust wood with abundant burl into a stunning vase. Deep pour epoxy resin, infused with captivating green metallic pigments, gracefully intertwines with the intricate patterns found within the black locust burl. Coated in glossy lacquer for protection and a high-gloss finish.
This is my biggest hybrid vase I have ever made and the colours and shape came out so good (to my preference at least) it makes it to one of my best projects.Show more
