PROTESTS IN ISTANBUL IN SUPPORT OF PALESTINIES

Video of protests in Fatih Mosque in Istanbul, an apparent joint rally by Turks and Arab residents of Istanbul in support of the Palestinians.

The mosque is located in Istanbul’s conservative neighborhood of Fatih, named after the former Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II who took Istanbul from the Byzantines.

People were carrying mixed flags from Turkey, the former Ottoman Empire, the Syrian rebels and the Palestinian authority.
