Strike fight Zlatonja (owner Batista) vs Brizan (owner Hodžić)

Unlike the Spanish corrida, bullfighting in Bosnia has a human dimension. The result of the fight is not the death of the bulls. The bulls fight each other in the open field, and each tries to force the opponent to retreat and leave the field. When one of the bulls instinctively feels that he is weak, he retreats. Bullfighting is a tradition in many parts of Bosnia, Leka and Dalmatia, but the longest tradition is the fight on Međeđe brdo in the municipality of Sanski Most. This tradition started in 1772. In the former Yugoslavia, it was one of the most popular events, often with around 200,000 visitors.
