Drat! Where's the Nut?

Haha. And I don't mean me. ;) I hope you'll join me on my journey to find the beechnut, one of the wild edibles I've found rather elusive. Keep an eye out for the owl!

In an earlier video I posted several weeks ago, on my Patreon account (uploaded here last week), I was excited to find a beech tree near my home with actual beechnuts. They weren't ripened yet. But they've fallen from the tree now! Gathering them, however, was a great reminder that the gift is so often in the journey.
