Ensuite Niche

The home owners wanted extra room above their cabinet for extra space. The builder built a 3 foot by 9 inch box. I dressed the niche with sills and 2 shelves 12 inches from top and 12 inches from bottom. The back of the niche has the same mosaics as the low profile shower and cabinet walls. I 45 the sill corners and then raised my tile saw blade to rabid sills to slide the shelves in for a cleaner look. I silicone the ends of shelves to hold them in place. I will come back to remove the plastic wedges then grout shelves edges then use translucent silicone to finish it off.
