Fear of snakes is a very legit thing; those things are just terrible to even look at. Some of these slithery buggers are able to climb up walls and get in your house without ever noticing them. Oh, the horror! If only they were all as understanding as this big guy.

A snake rescuer was called in to capture a Carpet python on a property in Doonan, Queensland, Australia. The nine-foot reptile crawled up the house, then settled on their deck and twisted in a bundle, probably scared of the extra attention is was receiving. Yes, snakes can get scared when there are too many people around them too.

The snake catcher came prepared with his hook and black bag, expecting the long serpent to put up a fight. He observes that he already captured a smaller female python close by and this is a male, so they have probably been mating. The owner of the property says that they already had a much bigger individual caught just a couple of weeks ago.

The rescuer uses his hook to coax the male python to unwind so that he can catch him by the lower half. As he turns slowly towards his net, the snake slowly slithers off his hands and straight for the black bag! Would you look at that!

It seems this big fella was just waiting for his ride, instead of slithering away on his walk of shame.
