Last Call – Island in the Stars Independent Sci-Fi Film Project w/Guest Tom Konkle

We talk a lot on this channel about what we DON'T like in entertainment – the bad reboots, remakes and just flat out disrespectful corruptions of beloved franchises. And it isn't always the writers and directors; often it's the insane and counterproductive mandates by the studios doing the most damage. We say, “Give us something new and fresh rather than corrupting something with established lore.”

Well, it's time to put our money where our mouths are (or keyboards, as it may be). Tom Konle is creating an independent sci-fi film (i.e. NO STUDIO INTERFERENCE); a new story in a new and original universe. We've said this is what we want; we need to help make it happen! And here to tell us all about the project is the writer and director of the film, Tom Konkle.
