"Painting rolling waves" Difficulty level 2
Do this:
-The background in the drawing program is replaceable. If you are painting with oil paint, choose a neutral color under the first wave with a tone that lets the white foam "pop out".
I have chosen different shades of blue, teal, light blue and turquoise.
I make the skeleton of the wave by smearing the paint in smaller and smaller circles until it becomes a horizontal cone. On top I then put a white gray foam that leads the way and on that, white foam dots.
Finally, shadows are usually enhanced.
At the end of the cone it is brightest. The foam moves forward and then backwards in speed. Above the water at the bottom of the wave, I then draw the water's sheen.
