Ancient trees and others

If these trees could speak, they would have loads of history to tell! They have witnessed generations of events. They are often not a pretty sight; gnarly, ridged and bent, they sometimes have hollow crevices that one can peer into to spot wild life, various species of invertebrates and fungi that depend on them for sustainability. They look dead but they’re pulsating with life.
