The Ukraine-Russia war, which the whole world is watching with fear and anxiety, continues unabated. While Ukraine continues its counter-attack unabated, Ukrainian soldiers on the Tavriia front have achieved a significant victory in recent days, demonstrating an effective defensive performance. They destroyed an R-330Zh Zhitel electronic warfare station, a multiple launch rocket system, four tanks and 12 armored combat vehicles.
According to Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Tavriia front, over the past days the Russians have carried out 13 air strikes, conducted 24 combat engagements and carried out 915 artillery strikes. However, the Rocket Forces and Artillery of the Defense Forces in southern Ukraine successfully completed 1,270 fire missions.
Tarnavskyi noted that Russian casualties amounted to 323 people, and in particular two Russian soldiers surrendered. He also said that enemy military equipment was destroyed. These included four tanks, 12 armored vehicles, six artillery systems, 1 Multiple Launch Rocket System, 9 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, ten cars and special equipment of the invaders. Two ammunition depots and another important enemy facility were also destroyed.
On October 6, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russia had lost about 620 soldiers, 31 artillery systems, 20 tanks and 30 armored combat vehicles in the last 24 hours.
