Ray Stevens Encyclopedia Of Recorded Comedy Music EPK
12 years ago
Tomorrow Ray Stevens releases his 9-disc, 108-song box set, the Encyclopedia of Recorded Comedy Music. Here's Ray talking about his project.
The one of a kind set, dedicated to the "Golden Era" of comedy music, is chock full of the greatest comedic songs ever recorded throughout history. Classic songs like "Yakety-Yak," "Chantilly Lace," "A Boy Named Sue," "Cocktails For Two," and "The Witch Doctor" have each been re-recorded by the legend. For Stevens, the project has been a true "labor of love" that kept him confined to the studio for more than two years.
