With joyous heart and soaring soul -
I'll pen a poem to make you whole -
About the beauty of adding worth -
To all things, beings, and the earth.

We often think of value in gold -
In riches, power, and things we hold -
But true value is in what we give -
To make the world a better place to live.

From smallest acts - to grandest deeds -
We sow the seeds - of what the world needs,
To bring a smile, to ease a pain,
To lift a heart and soothe a brain.

Adding value to every life we touch -
Is a gift that means so very much -
It's not just what we say or do -
It's in the way we make things anew.

A word of praise, a helping hand -
A listening ear, a firm command -
All these things add to the whole,
To make us richer, body and soul -

So let us add value,
one and all - To the world,
the big and the small -
For when we give, we truly live -
And in that, we find the most to give.
