Republican Women of Waukesha Host Kevin Hermening Iranian Hostage Crisis

October 4, 2023: Sergeant Kevin Hermening, United States Marine Corps, speaks to the Republican Women of Waukesha County WI. Hermening, was held hostage in Iran from 1979 to 1981. A group of Iranian extremist students took over the United States Embassy in Tehran. For 444 days, Hermening and the others were held as hostages. The terrorists were directly supported by the Government of Iran.
